| Aspiring Artists Contest Results |
We'd like to thank all of you who participated in WhatsUpChattanooga.com's first annual Aspiring Artist Contest. We were delighted to recieve so many wonderful entries that our judges had a very difficult time coming to a consensus on their top choices. So in order to honor all the best entries we made a few additions to the rankings. So without further ado, we invite you to see all the top entries below.
Come see the work of these Aspiring Artists at the Hunter Museum of American Art during the month of April. The Hunter will feature an exhibit of all this years entries starting April 6th.
We would like to give a special thanks to John Sayne of Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts for his outstanding participation in this years contest. Thank you John, for you contribution to making this years contest such a success.
From the FounderAs a parent myself I have come to realize there is no better way to measure one's success than through the eyes of our children. As much as this contest is an opportunity for our aspiring artists, it's an opportunity for us as a community to stop and consider such heartfelt depictions of our quality of life.
So to all of you who work so hard to make the Scenic City the best place to be; my hats off to you and may we all work together to build a future the next generation will always be proud to call home. - Jason Perry, Founder WhatsUpChattanooga.com
